• At Noah Labs, we are scaling a medically cleared (class IIa under MDR) remote patient monitoring platform with a special focus on cardiology applications. Our solution combines advanced medical hardware devices, e.g., ECGs, cardiac implants with an intelligent monitoring platform for cardiologists and a user-friendly applications for patients.
• In collaboration with renowned partners such as Charité in Berlin and the Mayo Clinic in the USA, we are also working on groundbreaking research projects that use machine-learning based markers in voice to detect heart failure worsening earlier.

Tasks

• Develop and maintain both frontend and backend components of our web and mobile applications—creating elegant, intuitive, and highly interactive UIs with TypeScript, React, and React Native for cardiologists and patients, while building robust, scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI.
• Optimize application performance end-to-end by fine-tuning UI responsiveness and backend data processing to consistently deliver a seamless user experience.
• Design and implement secure, efficient APIs that ensure smooth integration between frontend interfaces, backend services, and external systems, supporting real-time data exchange.
• Maintain and update our PostgreSQL DB schema to ensure data integrity, efficient querying, and optimal performance across the platform.
• Enforce rigorous code quality and adopt best practices across the entire technology stack to maintain a clean, scalable, and adaptable codebase that meets the high standards expected of a medical product.
• Work both independently and collaboratively by understanding user interactions, communicating effectively across teams, and taking ownership of projects from design through to deployment, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Requirements

• You have extensive full-stack development experience with a range of programming languages and frameworks, including TypeScript, React, React Native on the frontend, alongside Python and FastAPI on the backend.
• You understand common API patterns and can apply them efficiently in both frontend and backend contexts, clearly articulating the benefits and trade-offs of different approaches.
• You provide constructive code reviews that help your teammates write clean, efficient, and scalable code.
• You possess a deep understanding of the entire technology stack and can guide strategic decisions regarding the selection and integration of specific frameworks and technologies.
