Job Description

Metrify Smart Metering, born from Enpal B.V., is Germany’s leading independent metering operator, powering the digital transformation of the energy world with 50,000+ intelligent meters. From installation to data management, we make smart metering effortless for commercial customers, energy providers, and municipal utilities.

Role Overview:

As Senior Finance Manager (w/m/d), you will own all finance activities for Metrify , from accounting and FP&A to reporting, controlling, and process design. You will work directly with the Managing Director (MD) and be the central point of contact for all finance matters, shaping decisions and driving the financial foundation for growth. This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for an all-rounder finance professional.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own all finance activities for Metrify, including accounting, FP&A, reporting, and controlling
• Set up, improve, and maintain finance processes and internal controls, including month-end close, reconciliations, and SOPs
• Prepare management reporting, KPIs, and dashboards for MDs and investors
• Build and maintain financial models to support business planning and strategic decision-making
• Collaborate with central Enpal Finance teams (Accounting, Treasury, FP&A) to ensure alignment and process integration
• Support strategic initiatives and ad-hoc analyses, providing actionable insights to the MD
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory reporting requirements

Qualifications

• Proven track record across Accounting, FP&A, and Finance Operations
• Proven ability to own Finance end-to-end in a small team
• Strong skills in financial modeling, budgeting, reporting, and process design
• Experience leading or mentoring junior colleagues
• Excellent English; German highly beneficial
• Hands-on, structured, autonomous, and able to thrive in a dynamic environment
