As a dedicated STACKITEER, you are part of the STACKIT Products division. This is where our products and services are developed, tested and improved.

The STACKIT Access Management Team plays a crucial role in securing our cloud infrastructure and cloud services. Working closely with various stakeholders, we ensure our customers' authorization goals are met in a highly scalable environment. We focus on the latest security technologies such as Relationship-Based Access Control (ReBAC) and Service-to-Service communication.

We are looking for a motivated Senior Software Engineer to help our team continuously improve security standards in cloud computing.

Your Responsibilities

• You will review code contributions and architecture proposals from your colleagues to ensure the quality and future viability of our solutions
• You will implement secure, thoroughly tested code and maintain our existing software stack
• You'll actively exchange ideas with internal and external stakeholders to continuously improve the reliability and availability of our services
• You will design and improve our software architecture with a focus on availability, resilience, scalability, and performance
• You will automate operational tasks wherever possible and ensure our software can scale efficiently to meet growing demands

Your Profile

• You are proficient in professional software development methodologies – from development standards to build and release management
• You have been significantly involved in the development of complex software systems and bring profound experience in this area
• You have knowledge of backend development, ideally with languages like Go, Java, or Kotlin
• You are confident in working with interfaces such as REST and gRPC
• You enjoy sharing your knowledge with other developers and growing together as a team
