We are now looking for a visionary Head of Marketing to lead our efforts in promoting our Kotlin language and related frameworks.

Role Overview: As the Head of Marketing for Kotlin Ecosystem, you will lead the marketing strategy and execution for our Kotlin-based products, which includes Kotlin, Ktor, Kotlin Multiplatform, and more. You will be responsible for driving awareness, adoption, and growth of these advanced technologies. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of languages and frameworks, excellent strategic thinking, and a proven track record in technology marketing.

In this role you will:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive growth and market penetration for Kotlin and related products.
  • Define marketing objectives to drive overall business goals and ensure successful implementation of company marketing plans.
  • Define and enhance the brand identity and positioning of Kotlin ecosystem in the marketplace.
  • Develop compelling product narratives that highlight the unique value propositions and benefits of Kotlin solutions for both individual users and businesses.
  • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, user needs, and competitive landscape and define opportunities for Kotlin’s growth.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and optimize campaigns.
  • Manage planning, development, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, content marketing, influencer marketing, events, and PR.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance, adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Oversee the creation of high-quality content, including case studies, blog posts, videos, and presentations.
  • Lead product launch initiatives, coordinating with product management, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing marketing team.

Voraussetzungen

We will be happy to have you on our team if you have:

  • A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a strong background in languages and frameworks marketing.
  • A strong understanding of language and related technologies and their applications in software development.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with B2B and B2C marketing, product marketing, and brand management.
  • A demonstrated ability to drive results and achieve marketing goals.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data and make data-driven decisions.
