You'll make an impact

• NIS2 readiness and quality assurance support:
  • Develop and provide guidance, toolkits, and templates for our IT units to demonstrate that NIS2 requirements are adequately implemented.
  • Provide training and targeted awareness measures for IT units and regional entities.
  • Conduct gap analyses and pre-audit assessments to identify potential compliance risks in advance.
• Global coordination and harmonization:
  • Advising IT units on how they can map NIS2 national legislation to their processes.
  • Drive a consistent level of implementation and exchange of best practices (lessons learned).
  • Coordinate with internal functions (e.g. Cybersecurity, IT Governance, Legal) to align an effective and efficient NIS2 strategy for Siemens IT.
• Reporting and stakeholder communication:
  • Support in the preparation for external audits (e.g., by regulatory authorities such as the BSI or similar supervisory bodies in other countries), or for related certifications (e.g. ISO27001).
  • Manage and interact with relevant stakeholders in IT, CYS and Leadership of local Siemens entities as well as with external auditors.

Your defining qualities

• Education
  • A university degree in computer science, business informatics, IT security), or a similar field
• Experience & Skills
  • At least 10 years of work experience in Audit, IT governance, IT compliance, IT security / Cybersecurity, or project management with a regulatory focus (e.g., ISO 27001/ISMS, KRITIS, GDPR, DORA, NIS2)
  • Very good knowledge of the NIS2 Directive and its classification in the EU-wide and national regulatory landscape (e.g., critical services and infrastructures)
  • Solid understanding of IT security standards (ISO 27001/27002, NIST) and risk management processes
  • Experience with IT governance frameworks such as COBIT or similar is a plus
  • Proficiency in audit methodologies and documentation practices
  • Knowledge of Siemens, esp. Siemens IT, the businesses and internal processes based on previous working experience would be ideal
  • Ability to moderate different units, provide targeted advice, and support with implementation
  • Very good project management and organizational skills in dealing with distributed global teams
  • Excellent communication skills and sensitivity in making regulatory requirements understandable
  • You are experienced in building and maintenance of professional networks (internal + external)
  • Intercultural experience and the ability to effectively manage global collaboration is a plus
• Certificates (nice-to-have)
  • ISO 27001 Lead Auditor
  • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), CISA (Certified Information Security Auditor)
  • Other certificates in IT security management or IT governance, e.g., according to COBIT
• Languages
  • Fluent German and English (mandatory); knowledge of other languages (e.g., French or Spanish) is an advantage
