Role overview:

In the role of Product Marketing Manager for PyCharm as a data science and ML tool, you’ll be at the forefront of driving the product's success by developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives in the data science industry. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to understand market trends, identify customer needs, and leverage communication channels to convey PyCharm's unique value to data and ML professionals. You’ll use knowledge and experience in the data science and ML domain, strategic thinking, creativity, and analytical skills to effectively position PyCharm in the competitive landscape and drive adoption and growth.

As part of our team, you will :

• Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive awareness, adoption, and retention of PyCharm in the data science market.
• Conduct market research to analyze customer needs, market trends, and the competitive landscape in order to inform product positioning and messaging.
• Immerse yourself in the world of data science to understand how data scientists and ML practitioners build, train, and deploy models, fostering advancements in artificial intelligence and data science.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and sales teams to define go-to-market strategies and product roadmap priorities.
• Create compelling messaging, positioning, and value propositions for PyCharm as a data science and ML tool.
• Develop and manage marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital marketing, social media, content marketing, influencer marketing, events, partnerships, and more.
• Create compelling content such as blog posts, tutorials, and videos.
• Measure and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives, as well as optimize strategies to drive continuous improvement.
• Serve as a subject matter expert for PyCharm as a data science and ML tool, providing product training and support to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Build relationships with key partners and industry influencers to drive advocacy and support for PyCharm.

Voraussetzungen

Requirements :

• A bachelor's degree in data science, marketing, business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in product marketing or product management, preferably in the data science and/or ML industry, or a background in data science and/or machine learning.
• Hands-on experience with Python and machine learning tools and libraries.
• A track record of developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive customer acquisition and retention.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear and compelling messaging.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to analyze data, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong sense of collaboration, with the ability to work effectively alongside cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Creativity and a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Motivation and a results-orientated approach, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
