Senior Treasury Associate - ALM

About The Opportunity

We’re looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Treasury Associate to join our Treasury & Investment Management team at N26 Bank. This role is key in supporting the management of our growing loan and fixed income securities portfolio. You’ll take an active role in sourcing and analyzing selected asset classes, producing high-quality reports, and providing technical and analytical support for our asset-liability management (ALM) activities.

In addition, you’ll contribute to strategic, high-impact projects and act as a point of contact for external investors and stakeholders.

In This Role, You Will

• Analyze both new and existing investments across various asset classes.
• Ensure accurate trade capture and maintain data quality across portfolios.
• Prepare regular portfolio performance reports and contribute to stress testing.
• Support and manage high-stakes, parallel projects across the business.
• Build and maintain dashboards to monitor daily operations.
• Collaborate closely with other treasury functions, middle & back-office teams (e.g. trade confirmation and settlement), as well as accounting and regulatory reporting.

What You Need To Be Successful

• Fluency in English is required; business-level proficiency in German is a strong plus.
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in banking, treasury, or investment management, ideally in a front-office role. Experience in project management is a plus.
• Solid commercial acumen and the ability to make sound risk/reward decisions.
• Excellent presentation and stakeholder communication skills—able to influence without relying on hard-sell tactics.
• Strong analytical and report writing skills.
• Ability to work with precision under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong Excel skills (modelling); knowledge of VBA, SQL, or Python is an advantage but not mandatory.
