As our Founding Engineer & Head of Platform Innovation, you will shape the future of the product from day one. This is a founding-level role: you’ll decide the architecture, build the features, and turn customer feedback into software that changes how teams hire. You won’t be a cog in a machine. You’ll be the one building the machine.

About Us

Klareda is built by three dads who have spent their careers building and scaling companies. Between us, we’ve founded five businesses and taken part in three successful exits. We know firsthand how hard it is to get hiring right (and how much clarity changes the game).

We also have the privilege of working with a board of advisors that includes one of Europe’s premier female CTOs. Together, we’re building Klareda into the AI hiring co-pilot that brings structure and signal to one of the most important decisions leaders make.

Tasks

What you’ll do

• Own Klareda’s technical vision and core architecture.
• Ship product features that simplify hiring workflows and deliver clarity to users.
• Use AI where it drives real value — reducing noise, surfacing signal, and saving hiring teams time.
• Work directly with founders and early customers to set priorities and iterate fast.
• Ensure the platform is stable and secure without over-engineering.
• Help build a culture of speed, openness, and experimentation.

Requirements

What we’re looking for

• Strong hands-on experience with Next.js, Node.js, React, and API integrations (OpenAI, ElevenLabs, etc.).
• Proven ability to ship production-ready software in a fast-moving environment.
• A product thinker who can turn complex user needs into simple, scalable solutions.
• Based in Berlin, with full flexibility for hybrid work (and parenting duties)
• Self-starter with an ownership mindset, bias for action, and appetite for experimentation.Clear communicator with a collaborative, low-ego approach.
