Senior Specialist Project Risk & Opportunity Management (m/w/d) PMO

Tasks

• You are responsible for the (further) development of company-wide processes, methods, governance structures and IT tools for the execution of customer projects, with a focus on Project Risk & Opportunity Management
• You define and specify methods and templates for Project Risk & Opportunity Management as part of the project management framework within the Project Business Operating Model
• You ensure that all process-relevant inputs and prerequisites for Project Risk & Opportunity Management are comprehensively captured in the process descriptions and integrated into the project management framework
• You ensure that the entire project management process landscape contains all required interfaces and elements for Project Risk & Opportunity Management and coordinate this with the relevant stakeholders
• You consistently integrate all relevant processes and associated work instructions for Project Risk & Opportunity Management into overarching processes and prepare these for rollout and training
• You analyze existing risk management practices, derive optimization potential and drive the continuous further development of the framework in close collaboration with internal specialist departments

Qualifications

• You have a completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a comparable qualification
• You bring many years of (leadership) experience in Project Risk & Opportunity Management for large, complex projects across all phases of the project lifecycle - ideally in industries such as aerospace, defense, rail vehicle or plant engineering - and possess sound knowledge of international project management standards as well as experience in change management and transformation projects to enhance project management excellence
• You have strong skills in structuring complex subject matters and process modeling, as well as ideally knowledge of Technical Risk Management and/or Critical Item Management
• You impress with a combination of analytical thinking, critical judgment, the ability to think in abstractions and solution-oriented problem-solving skills - combined with personal accountability, proactivity, assertiveness and strong communication, presentation, facilitation and stakeholder management skills that enable you to lead cross-functional teams without disciplinary authority and to embed complex change topics at various hierarchical levels
• Very good German and English skills (written and spoken) round off your profile
