Data Scientist - Pricing

We are currently recruiting a Pricing Data Scientist who will be integral to driving high-level performance across Lovehoney Group. Partnering directly with the Category Management team, your focus will be on building data-driven models, analytics, and experimentation frameworks to optimize product pricing and revenue outcomes within the Product Area.
What you will do- Develop and implement predictive pricing models to optimize pricing, promotions, and discount strategies.
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and experimentation (e.g., elasticity modelling, demand forecasting, A/B tests,) to inform pricing decisions. Collaborate with Category Management to translate data-driven insights into business actions.
- Build and maintain robust data pipelines and pricing simulation tools.
- Utilize data visualization tools like (Superset, Tableau, Python libraries) to generate actionable insights.
- Drive automation of manual pricing processes through analytics and modelling. Assist in the implementation of cutting-edge pricing tools
- Implement discounting playbooks aligned with company policies
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Business, Economics, Statistics or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- 3+ years’ experience in data science, analytics, or quantitative modelling (experience in pricing/revenue is a plus but not required).
- Strong programming skills in Python or R (experience with SQL essential).
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Superset, Tableau, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with machine learning techniques (regression, classification, clustering, time series forecasting).
- Ability to communicate technical insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
