Job Description

• Coordinate and support monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities in close collaboration with the RTL Shared Service Center.
• Review accounting records, balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS and local GAAP requirements.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements and annual audits across multiple legal entities.
• Act as a key contact for auditors, tax advisors and internal stakeholders on accounting and financial process topics.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance and accounting processes, ensuring efficient and scalable workflows.
• Support the implementation and optimization of internal controls and governance standards.
• Monitor and analyse financial data, identifying risks, inconsistencies and improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Controlling, HR, Legal and operational teams on finance-related matters.
• Support finance transformation initiatives and contribute to process automation projects.
• Work with SAP S/4HANA and other finance systems to improve data quality, reporting and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a comparable qualification.
• 3–7 years of professional experience in accounting, audit, finance operations or financial process management.
• Good understanding of IFRS and financial reporting principles.
• Experience supporting month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Experience working with auditors and preparing audit documentation.
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, detail-oriented working style.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken).
• Practical experience using AI tools to improve productivity, reporting or finance processes.
