Senior AI Engineer - Berlin (On-Site)

Your mission

(This role requires you to be based in Berlin)
As an AI Engineer, you will play a key role in developing cutting-edge AI-driven solutions that empower patients, enhance collaboration within the healthcare ecosystem, and drive innovation in patient journey analysis. You will work on creating advanced workflow agents and multi-agent systems designed to streamline processes for both pharmaceutical clients and individual patients. Your expertise will help bridge the gap between healthcare and technology.

Your contributions will include:
• Designing and developing intelligent, scalable AI systems: You’ll be responsible for building advanced workflow agents and multi-agent systems that improve the patient experience, optimize healthcare operations, and support our pharmaceutical partners with actionable insights.
• Building solutions for personalized health reports: Leveraging AI and machine learning, you will contribute to creating personalized health reports that provide patients with deep, actionable insights based on their unique medical data and experiences.
• Empowering patients through data-driven insights: You’ll work on systems that help patients share their medical experiences with others, fostering a sense of community and collaboration, and facilitating better-informed healthcare decisions.
• Enhancing operational efficiency: By creating AI-powered tools that streamline workflows, your work will reduce inefficiencies and improve outcomes both for patients and for organizations within the healthcare sector.
• Collaborating across teams: You will collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, healthcare professionals, and clients in the pharmaceutical industry to ensure that AI solutions are tailored to real-world needs and are compliant with healthcare standards.

Your work will directly contribute to transforming healthcare by leveraging the collective wisdom of patients, enhancing medical discovery, and advancing the use of AI in the healthcare field.

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in Python.
• Experience with Retrieval Augmented Generation ( RAG ).
• Proficiency in Prompt Engineering .
• Knowledge of vector databases and embedding models .
• Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, and LlamaIndex.
• Experience with multi-agent libraries/frameworks like Autogen, Pydantic AI, CrewAI, Swarms etc..
• Understanding of data engineering concepts, including data pipelines, data integration, and data warehousing.
• Ability to work with large datasets and perform data cleaning, transformation, and manipulation.
• Experience with version control, small and regular commits, unit tests, CI/CD, packaging, and Docker .
• Experience in Knowledge Graph Modelling is a plus.
• Experience building evaluation systems for LLMs or search.
• Cloud Platforms: AWS (SageMaker, EC2, Glue), Azure (ML Studio), Google Vertex
• Knowledge of AI ethics, bias mitigation, and responsible AI practices is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
