What you'll build

At SAP, we integrate AI technology with extensive industry-specific data and deep process knowledge to create innovative AI capabilities for all SAP applications. Join SAP's mission to revolutionize Business AI by developing Foundation Models that effectively leverage enterprise data, helping clients optimize business processes.

• Unique opportunity to help develop a Foundation Model on structured business data
• Assist AI Data Engineers in the extraction, acquisition, storage, transformation, annotation, and curation of data
• Work independently on our internal infrastructure and build and improve data assets that the team can work with
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, understand their needs, and help to supply them with the appropriate data
• Work with internal partners, facilitating effective communication and collaboration
• Participate in the development and maintenance of data infrastructure, tools, and systems.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our data management practices

What you bring

 

• Enrolled in a master’s course in computer science, Artificial Intelligence, or other relevant disciplines
• Strong Python coding skills and experience with frameworks such as SciPy, NumPy, pandas, or similar
• Diligent and thorough working style
• Experience working with large datasets and data pipelines. Hands-on experience in SQL and data infrastructures is a plus
• Experience with data and error analysis and ability to clearly present core insights
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-cultural teams
• Fluency in English
• Working from Berlin office is required at least once per week
