Senior Full-Stack Engineer (f/m/d)

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our  Product & IT team in Berlin .Are you eager to learn and contribute to our mission for a more sustainable future?

GO2 Markets  connects buyers and sellers worldwide to facilitate the trading of environmental products and provides advisory services to help organizations develop and implement sustainability strategies.

As our  Senior developer, you will accelerate the delivery of critical features, mentor and guide the engineering team, and shape the architecture and strategy of our platform. Your expertise will drive the creation of robust, secure, and scalable solutions that advance our mission of connecting buyers and sellers globally and promoting sustainability.

This is a  full-time, Berlin-based position , available for an  immediate start .

Your Mission:
Take ownership of GO2’s core products and engineering practices, driving scalable, reliable, and secure software while mentoring the team and delivering key initiatives.

• Lead our new Platform from concept to launch, ensuring a robust, maintainable technical foundation.

• Enhance and optimize key GO2+ features for performance and usability.

• Design scalable architecture, clean data models, and reliable APIs.

• Set and enforce engineering standards for code quality, testing, CI/CD, and documentation.

• Coordinate internal and external developers for aligned, timely delivery.

• Implement secure authentication, data integrity, and audit-ready frameworks.

• Deliver roadmap milestones in line with 2026 commitments.

• Partner with Product to translate requirements into fast, high-quality execution.

What You Will Bring

• 7+ years of professional full-stack development experience.

• Expertise in React/Next.js , TypeScript , and modern frontend patterns.

• Strong backend skills in Go, Node.js , Java or Python .

• Solid experience in data architecture and modeling , including scalable schemas, multi-tenant models, indexing, and performance optimization.

• Strong skills in data architecture, modeling, and scalable APIs .

• Expertise in secure authentication (MFA, SSO/IdP, RBAC) and production-grade coding.

• Familiarity with DevOps fundamentals : CI/CD, deployments, monitoring, and logging.

• Proven track record building complex B2B platforms , dashboards, marketplaces, or workflow systems.

• Strong ability to write maintainable, production-ready code with clear documentation.

• Ability to mentor, review code, and guide engineering standards .

• Strong ownership and collaboration across Product, Design, and other teams.

• Quick adaptability with a focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions .
