Azure System Administrator

We are currently filling a role as System Administrator – Azure (m/w/d) at a leading AI-based insurance services provider.

In this position, you will be responsible for the administration and operation of the Azure infrastructure, which has so far been administered by an external service provider. This is a fully remote role (within Germany) and you will be part of an international IT team of 10 devops and software engineers.

We are looking for a candidate with at least 2 years of Azure experience and 4 years of classic system administration experience to join our team.

| WHAT YOU WILL DO

* Oversee the administration and operational aspects of our Azure infrastructure, encompassing Azure Active Directory and M365 Services.

* Manage the configuration and continuous monitoring of diverse Azure resources such as Virtual Machines, networks, storage solutions, and databases.

* Drive automation initiatives for routine tasks and deployment pipelines using PowerShell and Azure CLI.

* Guarantee the security posture and compliance adherence of our Azure environments.

* Provide expert troubleshooting and resolution for issues within both Azure and traditional system administration landscapes.

* Actively contribute to the strategic development and practical implementation of our cloud initiatives.

* Maintain comprehensive documentation for all system configurations and operational processes.

| WHOM WE ARE LOOKING FOR

* A minimum of 4 years of professional background as a System Administrator.

* Practical expertise of at least 2 years with Microsoft Azure platforms.

* Deep understanding of networking principles, conventional system administration practices, and Active Directory.

* Familiarity with Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure AD) and robust Identity Management concepts.

* Excellent command of English (C1 level) and good German language skills (B2 level).

* An independent and solution-driven approach to work.

* A collaborative team player with effective communication abilities.
