Founder Associate (f/m/d) FinTech Startup (Serial Entrepreneurs)

We co-founded and led Viafintech (Barzahlen) to 100+ FTE , one of the most successful German fintechs, active in 17 markets across the EU and USA, and sold it in 2021 for a € three-digit million amount to NYSE-listed Paysafe Group.

Now we’re off to our next venture. This time we’re building a global champion for prepaid products: gift cards (Apple, Amazon, Google), airtime and eCash all in one simple API. Think of finperks as a stripe/adyen for all prepaid products and payments.

We started in summer 2025 and in just a few months we have already onboarded 700+ brands, and our first client goes live by the end of the year.

Many people completely underestimate the market size: about €600bn sold per year today, going to €1.8tn by 2028.

Instead of 5 players in the chain (brand → issuing tech provider → global distributor → local distributor → client), we connect brands directly with clients via the finperks platform. Today 95% of prepaid is still sold in the Global North; we believe that for the gig economy to monetize the Global South, prepaid will be key - from Netflix and Google to Apple and Uber.

Tasks

As a Founders Associate , you’ll work directly with our founding team across all key areas - from strategy and business development to operations and growth. You’ll act as an entrepreneurial right hand, driving projects end-to-end and pushing forward initiatives that shape Finperks’ trajectory. This is a full-time role designed for ambitious individuals eager to take ownership and make a visible impact in a fast-moving fintech startup.

You will:

• Lead and execute cross-functional projects across product, go-to-market, and operations
• Collaborate closely with the founders on strategic priorities, fundraising, and growth initiatives
• Research and analyze markets, competitors, and business models in fintech, APIs, and prepaid ecosystems
• Prepare investor materials, client presentations, and data-driven analyses for strategic decisions
• Manage and improve internal processes to enable scalability and growth efficiency
• Coordinate with partners and clients (e.g., major brands and distributors) to refine product-market fit
• Take ownership of operational challenges and turn ideas into actionable results

Requirements

• 6–12 months of relevant work experience in startups, consulting, investment, or fintech
• Proven ability to manage projects independently and take full ownership from planning to execution
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and modern tools (e.g., Notion, Airtable, AI tools)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German fluency is a plus
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on mentality and willingness to learn fast
• Passion for entrepreneurship, venture building, and technology
