SAP MDM & Data Migration Specialist

This job operates on a hybrid model, requiring you to be based and work from within Bulgaria.

YOUR MISSION

• Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA data migration initiatives and ensure a smooth cutover
• Design and implement MDM and SAP MDG governance frameworks
• Ensure high data quality, integrity, and consistency across all master data domains
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders and SAP functional teams to align data and processes
• Guide junior colleagues and offshore teams as a trusted SAP Data SME

YOUR EXPERIENCE & TALENTS

• Define migration strategies, methodologies, validation rules , and reconciliation controls
• Execute ETL processes using SAP Migration Cockpit , BODS , Syniti , LSMW , or similar tools
• Map legacy data to critical SAP master data objects (Material, BP, BOM, Finance, EWM, etc.)
• Configure SAP MDG governance models, workflows, change requests, and approval processes
• Monitor & analyze data quality, perform root-cause analysis , and propose corrective actions
• Support mock migrations, SIT/UAT cycles, and final cutover execution
• Engage with data owners and stewards to maintain governed, high-quality master data
• Collaborate with FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, EWM, QM and other functional teams on cross-module alignment
• Apply strong knowledge of SAP integration and master data structures in daily work
• Utilize SQL, data profiling, and validation techniques to improve accuracy and completeness
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and present data insights, risks, and recommendations
• Bring added value with experience in regulated industries, SAP MDG certifications , data archiving, Agile/SAFe, or related frameworks
