We are looking for an exceptional Legal Counsel to join our growing team and support the business across its international operations. This is an opportunity to play a key role in a fast moving iGaming business, providing commercially focused legal advice across a broad range of matters.

You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the business, helping us navigate the evolving legal and regulatory landscape of international online gambling while supporting our continued growth. With a broad remit spanning iGaming regulation, commercial contracts, legal risk and disputes , you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact as the business continues to scale globally.

The impact you will make

• Provide strategic and commercially focused legal advice to internal stakeholders and senior management on legal, regulatory and commercial matters.

• Advise the business on international iGaming and online gambling laws and regulations , helping teams understand regulatory requirements and manage legal and compliance risks across multiple markets.

• Draft, review and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, including supplier, technology, platform, service, licensing, marketing, sponsorship, affiliate and vendor agreements.

• Lead and support commercial contract review and legal due diligence processes, identifying material risks and providing clear, practical recommendations.

• Identify, assess and mitigate legal risks across international markets, proactively highlighting potential issues and advising the business on appropriate solutions.

• Support regulatory matters, including regulatory submissions and other legal requirements across relevant jurisdictions.

• Manage and coordinate claims, disputes, arbitration, litigation and mediation across multiple jurisdictions, including instructing and managing external counsel where required.

• Advise the business on dispute and litigation strategy, including pre-litigation matters, investigations, enforcement, injunctions and other interim relief.

• Provide practical legal guidance on data privacy, consumer protection, AML, technology and other regulatory matters relevant to the operation of an international iGaming business.

• Support commercial and strategic transactions through legal due diligence, risk analysis and contract review.

• Conduct legal research and prepare clear legal memoranda, analyses and recommendations to support business decisions and strategy.

• Work closely with commercial, compliance, risk, finance, marketing, product, technology and operations teams, providing pragmatic legal advice that enables business objectives.

• Manage relationships with external legal advisers, including law firms and local counsel, ensuring matters are handled efficiently and cost-effectively.

• Monitor developments in international legislation, regulation and the iGaming industry and proactively advise the business on their potential impact.

• Provide general legal support across the business, including intellectual property and brand-related matters where required.

Your track record

• Bachelor's or master’s degree in law from an accredited institution.

• Qualified/admitted to practise law in at least one recognised jurisdiction.

• Approximately 2–5 years' post-qualification experience , gained in-house and/or in a reputable commercial law firm.

• Strong experience in commercial contracts and general commercial legal matters.

• Demonstrated experience in the international online gambling/iGaming industry , with a strong understanding of the legal and regulatory environment applicable to online gambling businesses.

• Experience working across multiple jurisdictions and navigating different legal and regulatory frameworks.

• Experience managing or supporting commercial disputes, litigation, arbitration or mediation.

• Strong understanding of legal risk and the ability to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into clear, commercially practical advice.

• Excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to explain legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders.

• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

• Highly organised, commercially minded and able to manage multiple matters and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Comfortable working autonomously while collaborating effectively with teams across the organisation.

Bonus points if you also have

• Experience working across multiple international iGaming jurisdictions and regulatory frameworks.

• Experience with online gambling regulatory matters, licensing applications or regulatory submissions.

• Strong knowledge of data privacy and technology-related legislation.

• In-house experience managing claims and disputes.

• Familiarity with cross-border enforcement of judgments and arbitral awards.

• Experience in the broader technology, digital entertainment, livestreaming or gaming sectors.

• Experience working in a high-growth, international and highly regulated business.
