About this role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with 5+ years of experience to join our team and help build and evolve our AI Platform, which is the backbone that powers our large-scale voice AI agents. We need someone who is strong in Python and also proficient in Go, capable of confidently navigating across the backend stack to address our current capacity needs, especially on the Python side.

What will you be doing?

• Developing and maintaining backend platform services, focusing on scalability, performance, and reliability.
• Helping to break down a monolith into high-performance services for stronger test coverage and clearer lines of ownership.
• Pushing to make the platform fully enterprise-grade, focusing on observability, compliance, multi-region deployments, and a robust deployment process.
• Ensuring real-time AI orchestration with LLMs, ASR, text-to-speech, telephony, and business logic in a tight loop of less than 300-700 milliseconds.
• Contributing to developer experience and platform acceleration, helping teams ship faster and safer through golden helm charts, better test harnesses, and load testing frameworks.

Visa sponsorship is available for relocation to Germany. We can also consider candidates from most EU countries (excluding France), Armenia, and the UK.

On-site or Remote work policy

Hybrid, with relocation to Berlin, Germany, or remote with travel to Berlin a couple of times a quarter. Remote candidates must be located in Germany, Italy, Spain, Netherlands, Armenia, UK, Estonia, or Lithuania.
