Lead Monetization Manager

Ads are already live in the Freecash app via AppLovin MAX; now we want a hands-on lead to aggressively grow ad revenue across interstitial, rewarded, and custom ad units while maintaining a sharp focus on user experience. This is a senior, high-impact individual-contributor role.

What You’ll Own

• In-App Optimization & Placement: Improve ad placements, formats, dynamic triggers, and audience segmentation within the Freecash app to maximize revenue potential.

• Custom Ad Formats: Innovate, develop, and test high-performing custom ad formats built specifically for our audience and app architecture.

• Direct Exchange & Network Partnerships: Work directly with ad exchanges, demand partners, and networks to drive custom deals, direct integrations, and premium monetization opportunities.

• Bidding & Mediation Strategy: Collaborate closely with the bidding team and optimize MAX mediation, unified bidding, waterfall setups, and floor price strategies.

• Experimentation & Execution: Run frequent, data-driven tests to continuously lift CPMs, ARPU, and overall ad revenue.

• Product & UX Balance: Work closely with product leadership and Marco to balance top-line revenue gains against retention and long-term user experience trade-offs.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven Ownership: Track record of driving in-app ad monetization in gaming, rewarded apps, or high-volume consumer apps.

• Deep Ad Tech Mastery: Hands-on experience with rewarded ads, interstitials, programmatic mediation platforms (e.g., AppLovin MAX), bidding environments, and working directly with ad exchanges.

• Bidding & Growth Alignment: Experience working alongside bidding/user acquisition teams to align supply-side optimization with demand-side unit economics.

• Custom Format Innovation: Ability to conceptualize and execute bespoke or hybrid ad formats in partnership with product and engineering teams.

• Commercial Drive: Demonstrated success turning experimental concepts and commercial partnerships into measurable, scalable revenue growth.

• Bonus: Experience extending monetization strategies to new products or emerging platforms (e.g., Link).
