Senior Principal, Global Performance & Projects -GFS

Job Description

We are looking for a Senior Principal, Global Performance & Projects to lead the Performance & Special Projects Management of our Cloud Kitchens vertical.

 

Global Food Services (GFS) is Delivery Hero’s physical infrastructure arm that builds cloud kitchens to facilitate the geographic expansion of restaurants, and your mission will be to define how we measure success across all regions, bridging the gap between raw data and executive strategy. You will build and scale the framework that measures our success across all regions, ensuring our cloud kitchens remain profitable, efficient, and strategically aligned with Delivery Hero’s global goals. You won't just report the numbers; you will own the framework that drives our P&L, optimizes our commercial levers, and ensures that a win in one region becomes a standard practice in another. 

 

• Design and implement a flexible global performance management system which can be tweaked based on the maturity of each regional business - supporting high-growth "startup" markets differently than established "mature" zones

• Manage and track the financial & operational performance for GFS globally, identifying key trends, risks, and opportunities to improve both top and bottom-line performance

• Drive the execution of GFS Central OKRs and contribute to the long-term global strategy for the vertical, ensuring regional milestones directly support our high-level commercial objectives

• Manage relationships with regional counterparts and collaborate with Data Team to build the "Single Source of Truth" standardized dashboards and reporting tools that the entire vertical uses to make decisions, and ensure their adoption across the vertical

• Drive cross-functional ad-hoc special projects that arise from the vertical's evolving needs (e.g. new market entry, partnership with 3rd parties, launch of virtual brands, etc.)

• Provide high-level insights and executive summaries to senior leadership, distilling complex data into clear strategic actions

 

Qualifications

• You gained in total 7+ years of professional experience, of which 3+ year in management consulting, investment banking firm, or an internet company

• You earned your degree from a university in business, economics, management or engineering 

• Proven experience in defining and executing strategies and as well you possess a hands-on mentality, drive, an analytical and structured way of working, and logical thinking skills

• You are highly motivated and communicative, very energetic and independent in handling business challenges

• You are comfortable and have the ability to achieve goals in a dynamic and highly pressured entrepreneurial environment

• You have excellent English language skills

Nice to have: 

• Work experience in central teams overseeing multiple entities

• Technology experience, preferably e-commerce
