About our client
Our client, a fast-growing professional services company led by high-calibre, entrepreneurial investors with a distinctive buy-and-build strategy, is currently seeking a Head of PMO (Project Management Office) based in Germany. This role places a strong emphasis on the hands-on execution of projects and initiatives aimed at accelerating value creation. Digitalization and AI are expected to play a key role in the company's development in the coming years. We are looking for an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and 4-8 years of experience, as this is a key strategic position within the organization. The company is headquartered in Berlin. Remote work is possible, with a willingness to travel 1-2 days per week. What the job involves
- Drive and oversee post-merger integration across business units
- Ensure governance, transparency, and alignment at all organizational levels
- Lead key initiatives to unlock synergies and accelerate value creation
- Act as the central point for cross-functional coordination and decision-making
- Monitor progress, report on KPIs, and proactively adapt integration plans
- Support cultural alignment and change management for seamless transitions
- Advise leadership on strategic and operational integration priorities
- Build and implement tasks and processes, including selected M&A activities
- Proven experience in post-merger integration, change management, or corporate strategy
- Initial training or experience with a strategy consultancy is a plus
- Strong track record of driving cross-functional projects to successful completion
- Ability to influence and align stakeholders across all organizational levels
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and operational excellence
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-impact environments
- Experience and strong interest in digital and AI-driven solutions
- Results-oriented, proactive, and highly organized personality
- Willingness to travel 1-2 days per week within Germany
- Fluent in both German and English
