Product Engineer

About the Role

This is a high-ownership product engineering role at a seed-stage AI voice platform, where you will build and ship features end-to-end on a small, fast-moving team. You will work across applied AI products, agent configuration experiences, integrations, and the systems that power them, with direct impact on real customer outcomes.

What You'll Do

• Build an AI coworker that configures agents, debugs issues, connects to external systems like CRMs, calendars, and email, and delivers direct answers in place of dashboards.

• Build and optimize voice agents for speed, reliability, and quality at scale.

• Extend agent capabilities to multi-channel interactions including calls, WhatsApp, and email with shared memory and state.

• Develop memory systems that enable agents to reason across entire customer flows.

• Build observability and tracing tooling to make every degraded interaction easy to understand and debug.

• Implement channel-routing logic so agents select the right communication channel for each situation.

What We're Looking For

• Production experience building and owning product features and the distributed systems behind them.

• Proficiency in Python, FastAPI, and/or TypeScript in backend production environments.

• Experience with real-time audio systems or voice infrastructure.

• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, or similar data stores in production.

• Experience building with LLMs, AI agents, or agentic systems in production.

• Experience building asynchronous or event-driven systems with complex state management.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Strong software fundamentals across frontend and backend; comfortable picking up unfamiliar domains quickly.

• Bias toward action, strong product sense, and focus on business outcomes over technology for its own sake.

• Nice to have: experience with Temporal or other workflow orchestration tools, multi-channel communication integrations, observability tools such as OpenTelemetry or Honeycomb, or React frontends with TanStack.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: EUR 85,000 to EUR 160,000 per year, plus equity. Visa sponsorship is available.

Location

On-site in Berlin, Germany . Relocation support is available.
