Als eigenständige deutsche Tochter eines weltweiten Musikkonzerns bieten wir individuelle Webshops für Bands oder Künstler an. Auf ihren Touren betreuen wir das Merchandising in Spielstätten in ganz Europa.

Unsere Services reichen dabei von der Herstellung der Merch-Produkte über die Lagerung und Logistik in unserem Logistikzentrum in Dortmund, die europaweite Tourbetreuung sowie den Betrieb individualisierter Webshops.

Als Senior Accountant übernimmst du eine zentrale Rolle bei der Steuerung, Überwachung und kontinuierlichen Weiterentwicklung der Finance- und Accounting-Prozesse für das europäische Geschäft von Kings Road Merch. In enger Abstimmung mit dem europäischen Management und der globalen Finance-Organisation stellst du sicher, dass Abschlüsse, Reporting, Compliance und interne Kontrollen verlässlich, fristgerecht und nach einheitlichen Standards umgesetzt werden.

Aufgaben

• Zentrale Steuerung und kontinuierliche Weiterentwicklung der Accounting-Prozesse für das europäische Geschäft von KRM
• Eigenständige Betreuung der Debitoren- und Kreditorenbuchhaltung
• Prüfung von Rechnungen und Abwicklung des Zahlungsverkehrs
• Forderungsmanagement
• Erstellung der Umsatzsteuermeldungen in allen europäischen Ländern in Zusammenarbeit mit unserem internationalen Compliance Partner
• Vorbereitung und Koordination der Monats- und Jahresabschlüsse nach HGB sowie des Reportings
• Erstellung und Qualitätssicherung des monatlichen Finanzreportings an die US-Muttergesellschaft
• Funktion als zentrale Finance-Schnittstelle zwischen KRM EU, dem europäischen Management und der globalen Finance-Organisation
• Sicherstellung verlässlicher interner Kontrollen, Dokumentationen und einheitlicher Accounting-Standards
• Identifikation und Umsetzung von Verbesserungen und Automatisierungen innerhalb der Finance-Prozesse
• Unterstützung bei der Weiterentwicklung und effizienten Nutzung von NetSuite

 

Profil

• Abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung, idealerweise als Steuerfachangestellte:r oder Finanzbuchhalter:in; alternativ eine vergleichbare Qualifikation
• Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung in einer eigenverantwortlichen Accounting-Funktion
• Fundierte Kenntnisse der Finanzbuchhaltung und Abschlusserstellung nach HGB
• Erfahrung mit Monats- und Jahresabschlüssen sowie Finanz- und Konzernreporting; IFRS-Kenntnisse sind wünschenswert
• Erfahrung in der Steuerung und Verbesserung von Accounting-Prozessen, idealerweise in einem internationalen Unternehmensumfeld
• Fähigkeit, eigenständig zu arbeiten und gleichzeitig eng mit internationalen Finance- und Managementteams zusammenzuarbeiten
• Erfahrung mit NetSuite oder die Bereitschaft, sich einzuarbeiten
• Gute Englischkenntnisse für die regelmäßige Zusammenarbeit mit der globalen Finance-Organisation

We are currently seeking a Senior Accountant.

Kings Road Merch GmbH is a globally established full-service provider of merchandise products and services. As an independent German subsidiary of a global music group, we offer customized online shops for bands and artists. We manage merchandising at venues throughout Europe during their tours.

Our services range from the production of merchandise products to storage and logistics in our logistics center in Dortmund, Europe-wide tour support, and the operation of customized online shops.

We are looking for you if you enjoy working in the music industry with printed T-shirts and merchandise. European VAT, OSS and withholding tax requirements do not intimidate you, and you are keen to work with NetSuite and collaborate closely with international Finance partners.

As Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in overseeing and continuously improving the finance and accounting processes supporting KRM's European business. Working closely with the European management team and the global Finance organization, you will ensure that financial close, reporting, compliance and internal controls are accurate, timely and consistently applied.

 

What you will do:

• Central oversight and continuous improvement of the accounting processes supporting KRM’s European business Independent management of accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
• Invoice review and payment processing
• Accounts receivable management
• Preparation of VAT returns in all European countries in collaboration with our international compliance partner
• Preparation and coordination of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB), as well as reporting
• Preparation and quality assurance of monthly financial reporting to the US parent company
• Act as the central Finance interface between KRM EU, the European management team and the global Finance organization
• Ensure reliable internal controls, documentation and consistently applied accounting standards
• Identify and implement improvements and automation opportunities across Finance processes
• Support the continued development and effective use of NetSuite

 

Who you are:

• Completed commercial training, ideally as a tax clerk or financial accountant, or an equivalent qualification
• Several years of professional experience in an accounting role with a high level of ownership
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting and financial statement preparation under the German Commercial Code (HGB)
• Experience with monthly and annual financial statements as well as financial and group reporting; IFRS knowledge is desirable
• Experience in overseeing and improving accounting processes, ideally within an international business environment
• Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with international Finance and management teams
• Proficiency in Oracle NetSuite and Microsoft Excel is highly desirable.
• Good English skills for regular collaboration with the global Finance organization
