Position: Statistical Physics and Thermodynamics Physicist (PhD)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $80–$110/hour
Location: Remote
Duration: 8 to 10 weeks
Commitment: 10 hours/week
Role Responsibilities
- Evaluate research-level physics problems in your subfield to enhance AI model reasoning .
- Design and solve complex physics challenges, ensuring solutions are verifiable by peers.
- Review completed work and provide structured feedback to improve AI model outputs .
- Collaborate with AI research teams to align on problem-solving methodologies.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines with flexible hours .
Qualifications
Must-Have
- PhD in statistical physics, mathematical physics or a closely related field .
- Published work on specific phenomena listed in the research areas.
- Verifiable publication record with three to five representative papers .
- Proficiency with LaTeX , Python , SymPy , and Jupyter .
- English at B2 or above , including written reasoning.
