Founding Account Executive
About the Role
Join an early-stage procurement technology company as its first commercial hire. You will lead enterprise sales across the DACH region, close new business, and build the playbook for a scalable go-to-market team.
What You'll Do
Close new business with DACH enterprises and mid-market organizations across sectors such as energy, automotive, and chemicals.
Own the full sales cycle, from discovery and demos through business cases, pilot scoping, procurement, security reviews, contract negotiation, and upsell.
Build relationships across complex buying committees, including procurement, IT, finance, and category management leaders.
Partner with deployment specialists from the demo onward, leading the commercial process alongside implementation work.
Share pricing, product, and ideal customer profile insights with company leadership and the product team.
Document the sales playbook for future account executive hires.
What We're Looking For
At least 3 years of experience closing complex enterprise B2B SaaS deals.
A track record of personally closing deals with six-figure annual contract values and consistently attaining meaningful quota over multiple sales cycles.
Experience selling enterprise software for supply chain management, vendor or supplier management, accounts payable, budget control, or a comparable area.
Strong stakeholder-mapping skills and experience navigating complex enterprise buying committees.
Full professional proficiency in both German and English.
Experience owning the complete enterprise sales cycle, including discovery, demos, procurement, security reviews, negotiation, and expansion.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary with uncapped variable compensation and equity as an early hire. Visa sponsorship is not available.
